M38 Sight adjustment

I use a hammer and brass punch, quick, cheap and easy. Make sure your stock bolts are tight first. If they are loose, your shots will wander all over the place!
Stan Ward makes a tool called the LT-1 for the 91/30's, but it doesn't work well on the M38's and M44's. I believe he has modified it now and calls it the LT-2, runs about $16. Email him and ask if it works on the carbines. Email at stanward@charter.net

Not that I tried it....
But could not a vice, a short pin, and a piece of wood, do the same.
Might even be able to modify an AK/SKS site tool.
Else a hammer/pin and piece of wood should work. That's what I used on my first AK many many years ago before the cheap chicom stuff came out and site adjustment tools became all to common.Comment
