    Muzzle cap for C&R

We've all seen the nifty g98 and K98 muzzle caps, they are small metal appliances that clip to the end of the barrel to stop dirt entering.
I have a few, some clean some that were dug up in Latvia - yes, I buy that crap.

Towards the end of WW2 the metal caps were replaced with a fitted-rubber cap instead.
K98, MP40 and the MG's all had them.

They make good accessories to your collection - if you're into that sort of collection - I am.

I have many accessories for the MP38/40 series of machine-pistol -

Here is an interesting accessory, that I won't be adding to my collection :

NFA items such as machine guns, suppressors, short barreled rifles, AOWs, Destructive Devices, etc. - All NFA rules apply.

What's wrong with simply using a condom - Oh not collectible to us - LOL -

Pit - Don't want to see you out there bidding/buying used condoms as muzzle cap -

I sure did - The most interesting things shows up on Buddy's board -

Is that cap worth the asking? Wonder why seller didn't test the auction market instead -

Cool. I've always wanted an original lee enfield muzzle cap, and wire breakers I love all the accessories but they get expensive and hard to find.
                Cheers

It's out of my limited area of expert ease - I can't imagine anyone needing one that badly.
MP38 items (except mags) are tougher to find as they were produced in limited numbers - but, it seems nuts, to me.

I have seen the Swiss muzzle protectors, not the Enfield ones (I'll look now) - they are sort of a throwback to the WW1 era of warfare -
*Just looked the SMLE one up - it was nicknamed the "Flanders mud flap!" - a spring loaded muzzle protector.

                      This one Father Ted?

This guy is notorious for well made replicas - but some of his spare parts are incredibly rare in original state, so sometimes the only option -

Check out his other auctions - everything is misnamed - not sure if on purpose or quite why, lots of fun odds and ends.
