I am on track to buy more C&Rs this year then I did all last year. As long as we have FFL03 + COE, why stop? I will move them out of state before confiscation happens.

while some folks are still buying stuff, it has definitely dropped off pace compared to what it used to be in here. even before there was a collector's exchange, c&r rifles were changing hands faster than chips on a poker table. I don't think anyone's interest has faded, just the will to jump through all the hoops that we shouldn't have to. I bought 2 rifles yesterday, because my brother made me, but I really don't care for the whole transfer nonsense on what in any free state would be a face-to-face transaction. like others said though, most of this stuff is gonna end up out of state in the not-too-distant future so screw it.

How long is it currently taking to get a COE and what is the cost? Since the DOJ is letting long guns get shipped to individuals with a C&R and COE have they changed their policy shipping handguns? The previous policy was that handguns must be shipped to a FFL 01 due to registration being required. Now both long guns and handguns need to be registered. Has the DOJ gained common sense and determined that handguns can be send directly to an individual with a C&R and COE?

1. COE's are quick, mine was about two weeks, YMMV
2. Cost is between $100.00-$125.00, depending on your LiveScan outlet.
3. No, they have not changed the handgun policy. Don't be ridiculous, the CADOJ is an instrument of oppression, they exist to make our lives as gun owners in this state miserable. In a free state, you don't need a COE to buy anything and they ship handguns through the mail to you. We don't live in a free state.
