    Ebay propaganda poster.

Won this on fleabay - arrived from Russia today.

It is yellowed (smelly) and old style thick weave paper - it could be a repro, though - who cares, I quite enjoy the graphic and it's going in a frame in the office, anyway.
Quite fun to have posters of the guns we collect -

*Sorry about the props - Chinese T53: I do not own any Russian rifles - *the Ppsh41 is Russian but, is a non-functioning movie prop gun.

Super neat Pit - When I was in Hanoi I was thinking of taking down one of the propoganda speakers that are mounted on all light poles at every intersection for souvenier -

You need to get on the Russian stuff in a quickie -

The speakers would certainly have been a coup - bad if you got caught though, Saigon!
I have a few books on propaganda art, there is a whole reasoning behind the boldness of the drawing, lack of text - and especially use of the color red, not just because it's Soviet - it was used a lot in political slogan "art".

When I am rich I'll collect Russian firearms, too, lol.

Just having the German collection is expensive enough

      German Bipods only!

*Anyone think they can correctly name the pre-1945 German C&R's with bipods - from front to back:

Clue - the MG34 is not there, as it is being worked on again.
All above are movie guns -

That poster's going to look good hanging on your wall.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

Love that poster. Does it have a date or reference a city (like Stalingrad) on it?

            Those guns look awesome!

I think Saigon was talking about actual loudspeakers mounted on poles. They used to broadcast propaganda on them.

Yes, Bodger - he was referring to the speakers themselves - you're correct - (i'm going to edit my post, to look less blind, lol)

Enfield47 - no text/writing on the poster anywhere.

Anyone going to take a shot at naming the bipods? -

The one in the back looks like an MG30, is there an MG34 and/or MG42 in the group? That's the best I can do.

Yes - it is permanent, but selectively, so - Saigon!

When you do a Google search for write ups on my films, the bad reviews for my films seem to be easier to track down than the good ones - lol.

Hmm.... you seem to be in good company.

Obama's press secretary decorates home with Soviet propaganda
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and his family are featured in a worshipful profile in this month's Washingtonian magazine.

It's the sort of adoring journalistic exercise reserved for only the most handsome of the power elite. In it you can find out details about the Carney dog (a cousin to presidential pooch Sonny!), and how much the press secretary's tie costs ($135).
But keen observers may notice the kitchen decor in the photo: Soviet propaganda posters. They really are the perfect pop of color whether you are the dour and sincere Nikita Khrushchev or the cheeky press-wrangler for a president who is constantly accused of being a socialist himself. --Michael Brendan Dougherty
