    CZ50 Redux

I posted images of my new CZ50 a week or two ago. I just scored an original box and holster from a fellow CZ50 owner. Unfortunately the box and target are not serial number matched to my pistol, of course, but I thought these were very cool to have nonetheless. Wish I had all of these for all of my C&R pistols, kind of makes the whole package just a little cooler, huh?

I like this little gun so much, I am getting the hots now for a VZ52. Something very retro-futuristic about the lines of this gun and VZ52. Reminds me of the production design from the film, "Brazil".

Very cool to have an original box (even if it doesnt match your serial number). Is that your concealed carry holster?

If I ever get my CCW (appointment is next week), I may carry this pistol and if I do, I might try this holster. Still figuring out exactly how it works, I get the pistol part under the arm but the excess length with the clip on the end of the lanyard, I don't know where it goes. This is not like a normal shoulder holster.

            Nice! Sell it to me!

The holster is meant to be worn kind of low, rather than high up under the arm, and the tab would button onto a belt. You could wear your pants really high and call yourself "gramps." No one would judge you.

CZ-82 holsters often have an elastic piece with a spring loaded clip. I guess for even the Czechs having buttons on a belt went out of fashion by the 80s.

I was wondering about that tab on the bottom? I guess if I do carry this one, it will be in an IWB holster.

                Nice group!
I have a C&R pistol with ALL the original paperwork including the registration card of the first owner. The box is not serialed to the gun but is definitely of the same vintage. My thought is when the gun was first purchased the Clerk put it in the wrong box before handing it to the customer. Having an original box is a plus, correct serial numbered box even better. Congrats on your CZ Vz50. Triple K just sent me another new mag for mine, I don't remember ordering 2 though. I only ordered one to try out before ordering another. This one even arrived without paperwork.
The hunt for the CZ Vz52 can be fun, they were plentiful from distributors. Most of them in that group were like in like new condition about 15+ years ago. Hope you find one, I'll keep my eyes open for ya also.

So does the pistol sit just above the waist with this holster? I'm trying to picture how it works.
