They still have a hex receiver with laminated stock. $220. A little high for a run of the mill 91/30 I think. Speaking of the Mosin you bought, is that unusual that the markings were ground off? I'm really interested in how it shoots.

91/30 Hex Receiver question

Yeah, it's a bit high. The only reason I bought the other one was because it was a triple-MO hex in a laminated stock. And I haven't seen the markings ground off like that, which contributed to the interest.
I'll let you know how it shoots, but I have a feeling I have to fix the issue with the bolt first.DiaHero Foundation - helping people manage diabetes. Sending diabetes supplies to Ukraine now, any help is appreciated.

Op and Nick: Well, I'm glad that was all resolved. haha. I'm sure everyone would agree that the Hex Receivers have a greater likelihood of having difficult to see Arsenal markings in general.
Btw, guys. I'm sure there's a few more Hex receivers out there. I live in OC and have examined a few. I just wasn't impressed with what I saw. But, I might have to just get one, anyway." A Republic, if you can keep it ..... " Benjamin FranklinComment
