1903A3 S/C

I just picked up a 1903A3 Remington last week which I shared with the forum. Also have this '43 1903A3 Smith Corona as well... Can't wait to drill a hole in the receiver, mount my scope and slap it into a sporter stock

Why not get a milsurp stock (CMP) has them - I think

Nice one, especially with an original S-C barrel. Is the bolt S-C also? I ask because the bolt sleeve is from a Remington.

Notice that the top of the sleeve is contoured compared to yours.

Highpower, the bolt is a Remington. I have seen a few SC bolts on eBay for $120-150

Is that the only part I need to replace in order to have a complete/correct SC, minus the wood/hardware of course?

If the bolt body is marked with an "R" you will need a different one to be "correct" of course. But, with the correct sleeve, no one would really know the difference without looking at the underside of the bolt handle. Original SC bolts are marked with an "X" or are unmarked. They also used some "CC" (Commercial Controls) bolts at times also.
