    Proper Procedure for C&R Sales?

Hey gang! I've got a few mil-surps I don't need. I've been here in Kali for two years and have really gotten out of the bug. I've had an 03 and 01 FFL's outside of Kali. I do know that it is different for FTF sales here. I'll probably list them here, but want to make sure I do it right.

In a nut-shell, what is the procedure for a sale from a normal person to someone with an 03 (yeah, it's an addiction )?

For C&R long guns that are over 50 years old, you can sell to unlicensed Californians and Type 03 FFL Californians without involving a Type 01 FFL at all. You can do this face to face or by shipping the rifle. You should check their ID to make sure they are California residents and over 18 years of age. Verifying the ID of an unlicensed person can be tricky if you are not selling face to face, so most people will not ship guns to unlicensed strangers even though it is legal.

For all other firearms you need to complete the transfer through a Type 01 FFL in California.

It has to be over 50, or just be on the ATF list as a C&R? I think most of my stuff is in the over 50 crowd.

      Thanks for the info A-II.
