Identify

I just went through an old box of stuff my grandpa gave me like a 100 years ago, gathering things for a shadow box, I remember this being there but had forgotten about it till now
Can someone identify this

The inky mark I can find is on the bottom of cylinder and on one side of the frame, looks like a C almost a G and either 2 numbers or letters after, I'm thinking it could be C32
The closest I recall finding to it long long ago was an iver Johnson or something
I'm looking for parts to put it back together completely, I have the grips, but it's missing most screws, or the screws are bent

That's a pin fire revolver, probably Belgian or French. Usually .32 or close. Are there notches in the side of the chambers in the cylinder? That's where the pin would run. They were at 90 degrees to the cartridge. Went out of favor as underpowered and, I've heard, the cartridges tended to go off in your pocket.

Yes there is a notch in each of the 6 the chambers
It does look the the hammer, when it's down, hangs over to the top of the open notch

I don't really know a lot about pinfire revolvers, but a quick google produced lots of results. And, except for the trigger, it kinda looks like this one.

Well I didn't know to look for pin fire til now, thanks for that reference, it does look like a larger version of what I have
