And this sucks. I am moving to Spokane next month and I am saving cash. So I can't buy this stuff and I am in the process of transferring my C&R

I have an SVT 40 and no you can't have it

And people say the good old days of C&R collecting are over!

I posit that right now, the C&R market is looking pretty good, I have recently seen decent Enfields for $299.00 and Yugo Toks for $169.00, Romanian Toks for $199.00, the flow of Chinese/SinoSoviet SKS is still healthy and robust, new caches of Romanian 8mm are available. The C&R market, at the moment, is looking fairly healthy, hope you are all taking advantage of it.

That's a good price on both the M48 and the K98.

If i am correct these K 98s are the ones that stayed stored in WW 2 . the Germans did not want to use them after taking over Yugoslavia. i apologize if i am wrong but i think these are FN tooling Yugoslavian made rifles. they might be great shooters but nobody calls them K 98s. worth much less.

You're a little mixed up. J&G is selling two kinds of rifles. First, German k98 rifles that the Yugos captured during WWII and refurbished after the war. Second, Yugo M48 rifles the were designed after the war and produced from the 1950s-1970s. It's the M48 that is based on the FN intermediate action M24.

And I might add, the M48s are fine shooters, although not nearly as collectible as the K98s. Love mine.

WOW... I haven't seen these Yugo capture K98s on the the first market in a while and those are great prices. Boy I bet that CA long gun registration is looking mighty ugly right about now for all the 03FFLs

I say buy and register away. By the time confiscation begins, my guns will be over the border in a free state.

I remember getting mine from Sarco years ago for $100. $250 nowadays is pretty good.

What watt79 says, a lot of it on Gunboards, here in the Marketplace. Not cheap but at least it is available.

Lol, I'm more interested in the 8mm ammo than the rifle. I already have 2 Mausers that need to be fed and only have one can for the 2 of them. Might have to bite the bullet and pull the trigger on a can...
