Sino Soviet?

Or mismatched Russian? Found this SKS at an LGS. Has the Cyrillic prefix and everything is matching including the stock. Dust cover is off a 51 refurb Russian with a 4 digit serial that doesn't match the others. Stock came out of the box with no cosmo on it. It's an IO import. They had another just like this except it had the rear sling swivel on the underside of the butt stock like a typical Chinese stock. Two others had 6 digit serials with no /26\ mark on it and they also had Russian dust covers. Are these anything special to where I should go back and scoop up the other ones?

Snapped these pictures real quick as the shop would not let me carry them out with my 03/COE because they "weren't on the ATF list and couldn't verify they were 50 years old"...

Yeah, that's a Sino-Soviet. Even with the mismatched cover it's still pretty collectable and desirable.

That's was my initial thought. Did the early Sino-Soviets make use of Russian stocks as well? What about a six digit non-Cyrillic in the same setup? Got my SKS books buried somewhere and can't remember if those first year ones count as well.

I believe the Cyrillic ones are more desirable than the non Cyrillic even if they are six digit early versions.
makes me wonder if the Russian technicians were still working on the machinery & transferring "sks" technology at that point.
