Just dealt with them getting a few odds and ends for some Swedish stuff. They seem cool, they don't quote shipping prices until after you pay but it seemed reasonable.

Provenance wise there has been some questions on certain rifles, if they "build" things, but I don't think this is some kind of huge problem.

I've ordered a rifle and ammo from them in the past. As Disco notes they're one of those who have yup place your order and then a day or two later you get your total charged. Their shipping is on the high side but not outrageous. Make sure you save the invoice from when you order. They raised their price on an item I ordered a few days later and tried to charge me the new price. I had to call to get refunded the difference. Also if you do call expect a...unique customer service experience!

All in all not one of my favorites but if they have something you want at a good price they are okay. I prefer Widener's, SOG, J&G, AIM...

Edit: do a search here on those Spanish Mausers... Some here have ordered them and received bad rifles that had to be returned.

SAMCO is good, a bit slow but no issues.

I bought a can of Korean 30-06 ball and the ammo was reasonably priced and in good condition fron Samco.

Ordered a M24/47 and M1916 in November and came just as advertised. One caution on the m1916 308, don't shoot commercial ammo. Even the NATO 7.62x51 had trouble extracting. Make sure you use downloaded ammo. I'm using 150gr ball with 29gr H4895 with no issues.

Yah, honestly the straight bolt Yugo 24/47 is the best value 8mm bolt gun out there. I love mine.

Bought two M41b Select from them ten years ago, along with a K31 and 98/28 unissued. Everything was excellent.

I've bought K31's and Persian Mausers from Samco and was entirely satisfied with my transactions

I have bought 2 items from SAMCO, a M1916 Spanish Mauser and Bayo for my Yugo 24/47.
                          1st The M1916 Spanish Mauser (actually I had 3 of them - will explain);
My 1st Spanish (which took two weeks to be delivered) was so beat-up I was afraid to shoot it - I sent it back and asked for another one.
The 2nd Spanish Mauser looked better so I took it to the range, 1st round went ok but when I tried to work the bolt - nothing. The empty case was so stuck I had to use a cleaning rod to loosen it up so I could get the case out. Tried a couple more rounds (7.62X51 and .308) same deal. Needless to say it went back.
The 3rd Spanish Mauser was a beautiful gun; wood-work and metal, just perfect! However it had the same issue as the 2nd one. As you can guessed that gun went back as well; this time I asked for money back.
Just didn't want to deal with it anymore.
(I'd love to get a Spanish Mauser but in the original cal (7X57).
Now for the Bayo; The description said "No Blueing - USED". When I got I was pleasantly surprised! The bayo looked liked it was never issued, in fact it was packed in cosmoline, (0r something like it) took me a hell of long time to clean it up!
I've bought from Classic, J&G and Simpson Ltd (plus a few others) never had any issues.
                          So there's my SAMCO experience.

I bought a Swedish Mauser from them once. The condition was acceptable for what I paid for it, but it took a real long time to get it. And when I sent them an e-mail inquiring about my purchase, they never replied. But when I took it to the range, what a tack driver, I never shot out bullseyes like that before in my life.
