    M41B Swedish Mauser Score

Finally added an original M41B to my collection, this one is 1912. Been looking for a numbers matching example forever. I passed way too many times with Samco back in the day and didn't really like anything I was seeing for sale for the last few years. It's unbelievable what passes for one, so much disinformation on these on the interwebs.

    They need to match serials:

    1) Front band
    2) Rear band
    3) Bolt assembly (bolt housing, pin, safety, extractor, etc)
    4) Receiver (blocked by scope mount)
    5) Scope mount (lower)
    6) Scope mount (upper)
    7) Butt plate
    8) Stock *YES, the stock SHOULD be numbered to the rifle*
    9) Scope can
    10) Bottom metal
    11) Bolt release

    Unique markings:

    1) Triple crown proof on stock *see pic*
    2) Sling marked M41B

    Not matched:

    1) Scope number to anything (All I know is the Ajack, don't know about the others)

I have had so much garbage offered to me with mismatched everything and told it was OK, the arsenal mismatched blah blah blah.

Wow...it is cool what we can learn on Calguns. I wish that rifle could talk. I want to know its story.

So now you have and all matching rifle, what do you do with, shoot it on the 50/100 yard line, sleep with it, take about how it never really saw combat/action, or take it out to a long range target /silhouette rifle match?

We get a few of these every month at the Sac Valley military rifle silhouette match shot prone off a bag and they are accurate!.

          Nice! Congratulation.

Now take that bad boy to the 3x600 match this Sunday at Sac Valley. It will do well. My shooting partner beat me with one almost like the rifle you have at the last 3x600 we shot.

Yeah, these matches are like Swedish Mauser matches really, considering half the rifles are Swedes. I don't know how well I will shoot holding over on wind age, I have to get used to it. I would have been shooting 100 yards tonight but it started raining.

And I have been sleeping with her for a week already..............

Wow...nice pickup. As others have said, that deserves to be shot. Congrats!
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

Nice!! The last few I have watched have been up in the $2500+ range, and most don't come with both can & sling.
If you ever need any work done on the scope, I can recommend a very good guy to repair it.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Nice rifle. Love the Swede's. Does your scope can have the scope adjusting tool still inside? They are pretty rare if it's still there.
