    Welcome to Idaho...

This is C&R related, I promise. I was perusing the local version of craigslist when I came across these gems (after all, Idaho IS the Gem state).

    Russian Mauser

    And my favorite:

    Nice AK 47 SKS
I want you all to look at the upper right corner of the picture, further right is the price. I'd say that's an absolute steal!

I laughed hysterically at that and so did my buddy. Hope you all enjoy!

Wow - that's like an ad imagined by a reporter at MSN.
Surprised it didn't say hi-cpacity assault clip.

              ....wat.

I want to move to Idaho (how IS Boise, anyway?), but I was expecting the average Idahoan to be more firearm... savvy, I guess.

Don't move here, you'll just get addicted to freedom. It's not bad, the winters are chilly and the summers are hot. You'd actually be surprised at some people around here, not all firearm smart just because there is freedom. Most people own a handgun or two, a shotgun or two and a bolt action or two around here. More hunting rifles than anything. I think the AR and AK are so popular in CA because they're kind of a slap in the face to DiFi and the other dingbats but out here they aren't as popular as in CA. Hell, I recently sold my AR and I'm contemplating selling my AK to fund more milsurps.

In Idaho, semiautomatic handgun revolvers are still legal aren't they?

Don't say that too loud, DiFi might hear you.

                      Huh, good to know, thanks!

Every Idahoan should at least own an AK/AR with a dozen mags and 1K rounds of ammo: just to keep DiFi on her toes

Hey, keep that AK. Even if only keep one rifle: let it be an AK.

What shops does she go to?! From my experience, most of the shops around here over price their milsurps mostly because they aren't sure what they have.

Which reminds me, I'll be in Idaho Falls this summer. Hopefully I can find a shop with some C&R stuff out there.
