Just read on another forum a guy got one that was a Rock Island. Can't tell in pic if it says arsenal or armory. I don't know a lot about 03s but if its a Rock Island I think its safe to shoot.

Springfield Armory below approximately serial number 800,000.
Rock Island Arsenal below serial number 285,507

I guess that's a pretty good price, I am not sure what I would do with one though, get a bunch of buddies and have a parade or something, hang over the fireplace.

Yep I was looking at their pic again. I think what you can see of it, it says arsenal. I guess one sure way to find out is to call though.
It's probably why they're $50 more than the non chrome Springfield low numbers they had.
