My uncle has a mosin nagant 91/30 The last round will not load. When the bolt face hits the round it pushes the nose downward. I removed the mag and cleaned, didn't help. I believe it is the upper spring under the follower is warn out not having enough upward force to counter act the force of the bolt.. Numrich does not have the part. Does anyone know where to find a replacement for it. Or could it be something else? Thanks

do you have access to another magazine spring/follower you could try? I've seen people bend the front 1/3 of the follower up a tiny bit... I'd probably just replace the assembly.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.
