Has any try to remove bayonet on Chinese type53/m44?

Can Anyone share a picture, is that true it will remove the front sight also?

Bud's has M38's for sale..no bayonet

the bayonet unscrews, M-38s are for wimps. every time somebody brings up M-44s somebody chimes in about their darn beloved M-38. I think it is a inferiority complex myself.

You can unscrew the bayonet but on my Type 53 it is staked so I just left it when I took the rifle down to remove the cosmoline.

M44 and clones have a bayonet assembly that is possible to remove, (but not easily) Held in place by a pin

Yes , the sight is part of the assembly

I need to look at my T-53 i am sure i unscrewed my bayonet and cleaned it just like my Romanian M-44. both 1955 ???
