I picked up two, cracked ones, at the $230 ea. price. These are my first commie rifles/SKS's. Not knowing anything about these SKS's I cant bring much to the table on their detailed condition/serviceability.
Neither have had cracked stocks, but are a bit beat up, but otherwise totally functional and non 'decorated'. One , with a mix of numbered parts took 3 hours of mineral spirits cosmoline removal, and very very minimal rust removal. The bore seem fine, bright and shiny. Once cleaned and lubed operates great. Trigger is even pretty crisp, compared to the friends rifle ive shot. similar to my service grade CMP garand.

The other has taken a good 4 hours of cosmo cleaning, and need another 1-2 more to really be clean. The parts are, however, all matching. The rust, however seemed quite extensive, and I am still not done. Externernal rust was moderate, and requires lots of brushing and wool. Internals, though extensive with surface rust came off once soaked in spirits. Currently everything seems fully functional, and outside of the rust, this rifle seems overall to be in better operational condition. The stock is less beat up, and the wood is comparable to a service grade CMP garand.

Ive shot neither, but Ill assume they will perform well.
Im happy with the rifles, and dont mind what i got, considering the price.
