Late Russian Early Chinese Jungle Bring Back SKS

this is the story if you want to buy it for $6,900

Had a great Russian all matching sent to me from classic/ Stock was busted to hell so they gave me credit to buy a new stock. Bluing is dam near %90 except for one side where it had someinthing like tape that removed bluing

Couldn't find good wood ones instantly so I bought two OEM "jungle" stocks...or just redish burgundy fiberglass stocks. I will be buying some wood ones as I have a few more that need stocks and those are true stamped /26\ chine sks rifles. Ill switch the type 56 to a couple jungles and remove this late Russian to a wood

They were in brand new condition...only had to fit a little bit but almost a perfect drop in. They did send piston guards too but I don't feel like screwing around with the pins yet as the new fiberglass need the metal in the hand guard area

I have been shooting hundreds of rounds at steel plates lately with these sks..and I love it

First time I have seen those stocks, a lot of people here always mention them. Pretty bizarre looking but an interesting piece of history? Are those things vintage original or some sort of new, WalMart kind of knock off?

Lucky you found jungle stocks cut for a blade bayonet. Most jungle stocks are cut for the spike bayonets.

sorry thought i posted link.. KB international..

these had a few different colors of glue running throughout- claimed as original ...The metal pieces had that oil paper and cosomline stuck to them- otherwise cam shiny new--with all the metal pieces because being in a paper covering with comso are perfect

Doesn't look bad at all in the plastic stock. Glad you were able to find one for the blade bayonet.

Is it lighter than the wood stock?

Not really, but all these woods are different shades. The hand guard is still the wood, almost blends in ,is on and in pictures
