Just bought a Pietta Model 1860 Army .44 Caliber Black Revolver, thinking that I would have some fun shooting this weapon. But, dam, can't get any percussion caps. Anyone out there know why there is a sever shortage of this item?

It looks like you are in Riverside. I believe I have heard that Cal Customs has black powder supplies, they might be worth a call. Cabela's also carries BP supplies and can ship.

Looks like Cabela's is out of stock on the caps, might be worth it to keep checking them online to see when they resupply.
Midway USA says they expect some in about March and you can have them email you when they come in: http://www.midwayusa.com/find?userSe...rcussion+caps+ -
have you gone by Bass Pro in Rancho Cucamunga? I cant believe they dont have any Percussion caps. But then again Deer Season is over and alot of people hunt with inline ML's nowdays"You see in this world theres two kinds of people my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig...
