    Spanish made 6.35mm pistol?

I have an older pistol I want to find more information on. From what I found out so far it maybe a spanish made vest pistol. All I have are the gun marks in the pictures. Any information and help I can get would be much appreciated!

Ruby Eibar style. Those are neat. Are there 2 stars on either side of the magazine well?

Yup, it's one of those Eibar-made. Now, as to which cottage or garage it was made at... I'm on the phone, so it's hard to see the details, but it looks like my Venus. If so, there's very little info on it, but I did find some, so it's out there. Hope you speak some French (most of the info came from French sites).

What are the markings on your gun?

In not to sure what the markings are but to me they look like a crown with shield below with an x in the middle of the shield. Then I believe its dv then a gryphon or a lion.

Ask on the "Spanish Pistol" forum on www.gunboards.com/forums if you don't get an answer here. One of the forum mods, BobinStLouis, has as many Ruby-type autos as anyone, and knows a ton about them, including obscure Spanish cottage industry makers. (That said, sometimes even he is stumped....)

There is no stars by the magazine well. However after removing the grips It is an Eibar 1925. On the other side under the grips it has a number of 171. Also discovered another marking on the barrel itself where the casing ejection port is. it has M E there and with the lion again.
