By reading the description, I would save my money and buy ammo that is cleaner, reliable and more accurate as like Wolf. Reloading is even better.

For those of us not restricted by "non-magnetic" rule, of course Wolf or Tula is cleaner option.
For me, however, it is a great ammo for fun at the range. Corrosive? So what? I have chrome-lined barrels n my SKSs and AKs, plus - does not take long to pour some water/windex down the barrel at the end of the range session.

I had maybe 2 FTF per 100 though, but at that price for non-magnetic, I don't mind.

If you reload, look for brass cased and boxer primed ammo. If you don't reload, you can always sell your brass. Prvi makes great ammo that can be shot on any range and SGAmmo has if for $10.95 for a box of 20 ($9.95 if you buy 50 boxes).

How's the accuracy compared to other stuff you've shot before? I've seen Sri reports here and there about this ammo not being accurate because of the bullet?

I put about 150rds of that stuff through my SKS, think I had 1 jam. It shoots pretty soft. Other than the part about corrosive primers, I don't mind it at all. If you're in S. Cal it's a good option because the bullets are non magnetic. As for accuracy, I only shoot at 100yds so I don't notice any difference.

The corrosive part does not really bother me, the fact its a reload does bother me. Who knows who did the reloading on them? Ill pass.

Its not so much a reload. More aptly described as remanufactured. Bullets simply pulled and replaced. Recrimped. This has to be done by a 06ffl in order to be sold commercially

Demilled as in demilitarized. The evil military steelcore bullet in 7.62x39 makes it classified as AP ammo. Sadly surplus steelcore 762x39 is banned except to law enforcement or governmental agencies due to the early AK pistols getting x39 designated as handgun ammo. Olympic Arms

Thus this particular ammo has the bullets swapped out in order to be available commercially in the US.

Your not going to see much Russian surplus 762x39 so its kind of cool in that regard.

It fills a need for those who have range restrictions on magnetic ammo.

Ive tried a bunch in seveal sks and had no probs at all

I have been experimenting with my own reloads with similar flat nosed plated bullets (Xtreme) to those used in this ammo, with mixed results.

Three concerns I would have before investing much into this ammo:

                        1. The blunt nosed projectile has a tendency to catch on the rim of the chamber in AK pattern rifles, especially when charging the rifle. I've found this to cause setback in my reloads. The reported jams are likely the same with this ammo. This requires extra caution when shooting this ammo. I did not encounter this problem using the SKS, likely because it feeds on a flatter trajectory into the chamber, but YMMV.

                        2. I have reason to believe these are plated bullets, and are not meant to be pushed at jacketed velocities. Plating separation and potentially barrel leading are possible as a result, and accuracy is likely to suffer. My own loads are limited to 1800 fps or less, which is pushing Xtreme's limits. The Berry's aren't likely to be rated for more, so again use with caution. The Russian surplus is definitely going to be pushing these faster than 2000 fps unless they lessened the powder charge (it doesn't say that was done so I doubt it). In my own loads, I've made gallery loads that do not cycle but are accurate (relatively speaking) and reduced loads that cycle but are pushing the velocity limits (and are dirtier). It is all a compromise.

                        3. Corrosive...not a big deal, but a disadvantage if other ammo is a possibility.

It is inexpensive and can be used at ranges that don't allow bimetal projectiles, but I would use with much caution.

Reloading your own, or just paying the extra for quality brass/copper ammo (PPU, Fiocchi, etc) is a better option, despite the cost.

That said, more detailed reports from those who have used this ammo would be great.

I've been using a lot of demilled ammo lately and I am very happy with it
