I was looking for info on this site but may be overlooking it. Simple question. I will be moving to California almost by force in a few years and want to know what hell I will be put through to get these firearms into the state legally.

Long arms:
Mosin Nagant M44 1944
RC Mauser K98
Remington 870 12 gauge pump with telescopic stock and pistol grip
New England Arms single shot 20 gauge

Pistols:
RC Walther P-38 9mm
CZ 27 (under german occupation) .32 cal
Ruger LCP .380

I'll save you the reading. All of your stuff looks good to go. Don't bring any magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds with you. Our laws generally get screwy with semi auto rifles, and pistols with the magazine located outside of the grip. None of the stuff you have listed should cause any issues at all.

If you want to make friends fast, and turn a quick buck, buy either some 1911 stripped frames, or some handguns that are not on our handgun roster. You can legally bring them with you when you move here, and sell them as private party transfers. But you won't be able to buy many of them through a store once you are here without jumping through some hoops.
