Spanish Mauser ?

A guy at work who knows I like old rifles asked me to help him identify whats been sitting in the family closet for a very long time. Well as soon as I saw it I thought Mauser then Spanish Mauser. Looks like all the numbers match.
I don't know too much about these but I'm sure there are a few experts here that can chime in.

Looks like a Spanish model 1916 Carbine made at the Oviedo arsenal in 1931.
