$79 X Grade Mosins at AIM?

What's the general consensus on these "X" grade rifles? Shooters grade? Are the stocks that beat up? Rust? Not that I need more Mosins but for the money....

I can kick myself for not getting a C&R. I've bought around 15 C&R guns in the last 18 months. But mostly FTF PP.

I was thinking about picking up four of them.

    $319
    $28 tax
    $25 DROS
    $60 shipping
    $35 1st transfer
$60 for remaining three transfer ($20 each)
    $527
    /4
    = $132 OTD

OR Wait on the Big 5 $149 deal again (assuming).

    $596
    $46 tax
    $25 DROS
    = $667

Only $35 more most likely a better quality rifle?

I bought 2 a while back when they had that special. They were a mess. I am passing this time around.

Thanks for the input. You're probably correct.

I got 2 of them earlier this year as well. They had a fair amount of rusting and pitting. Definitely not collector status by any means, but if you want a beater mosin then it is worth considering.

My guess is that these are customer returns to AIM after not meeting the satisfaction of the owners the first time around.

Good call on them being returns.

              Good News!
You don't have choose: AIM is sold out!
