Are there signs for the range once I get into the north cow mountain rec area? I've never been up there, but hope to make the trip. The directions on the BLM site aren't specific for the range. I just don't know how well marked things are on BLM land.
      Thanks,
      JR

I would love to go but that is a bit of a drive. I will have to see on that one.

From Winters it is a walk in the park in some of the most interesting topography out there.

I have to free up my sked and see if I can hand off some C&R before the deadline.

I can't justify traveling New Years eve with a truck full but good luck to all.

Once you get there, there are signs posted which way to go (at least there used to be).

It isn't hard to find anyways --- drive into the rec area, go past the two small lakes, the take the 1st dirt road to your left that heads uphill.

If you get to a bunch of houses, you went to far the wrong way.

You can also Google it for a direct route & a satellite view.

Hope this helps you out some, sir.
