    Crooked Mosin Front Sight

so, some time go i got myself an 1952 m44 from bubba. the sights were removed and a scope was mounted.

well, i'm getting around to restoring the sights and it seems that the front sight/bayonet lug was mounted and pinned crooked. Nothing really seems bent and im using the original bayonet lug. Anyone else have Mosins like this? Is this common? Ill have to get it out to the range when im done

yeah, i guess canted would be the better word. i was afraid of hammer time, but now that the lug is on there, i can't get it off there. i guess i'll get it to the range first, see if she zeros and go from there. i may have to break out mjolnir
