    C&R rifle value source?

Is there a site where I can look up the value of a particular rifle? I've got leads on a few 1903-A3 rifles and would like to know what they're worth before buying.

Two of them I know are Smith-Corona, one with a low 1943 serial number and a 9-43 barrel date and appears to be all original with good parkerizing, the other I'm not sure of serial number but I know it has a cut-down stock.

    Thanks!

I check Gunbroker. The asking prices but also the sold listings. I'll go back on CGN for sale section to see if anyone left the price up after a sale.

There are a number of 'blue books' you can buy.

I agree with san pedro. Look around even online. Of the bluebooks I have seen I don't always agree with their prices and as always condition is everything. they don't take someone's want into the equation or those just looking for a good deal. I know its a hard thing to understand fully but they really are worth what someone is willing to pay. When in doubt find someone who knows a lot more than you do and get a more experienced opinion. A good knowledgeable friend goes a long way. Its hard to hear you bought a turd but if its the truth????

This is a C&R site for pricing that has been used (http://rangingthoughts.org/manowar/prices.asp), but agree that condition is really everything and someone's "excellent" condition may not be judge the same for everyone.
