So I agree; Big 5 is not a bad deal when you add in all the costs of buying a out of state $99 one.

Not so great if you have your 03 though..,some online for $99, many for $129. I'll skip inspecting for a $70-100 savings.

San Bruno had a couple when I picked up my 10/22. According to the guy there, they had a few hex in the back, and a mixture of tula there too.

I got my first mosin at big five and have not looked back. It is not a hex but it's in great condition and is an awesomely cheap piece I'd history. I highly encourage you to proceed.

You save with license? Well if you want hand picked you got to pay extra, then shipping, then you open the box at home and surprise...but when I went to big 5 today I went through 5 boxes and picked 1932 hex with all matching and pristine looking stock, I paid already will be back on Friday to get my 10 bucks back and pick up the gun, no waiting period for c&r, this one will go on the wall

Bought two mosins at Big 5, both are hex receivers and only paid $99 each.

nobody had more fun than me buying mosins at turners and big 5. sometimes i would have two or three at different stages of the 10 day cooling off perioud.
last year on black Friday i got up at 5 am and was the first one in line to buy a mosin.I traded or sold most of them after a while.
when you first get into milserp collecting mosins are a lot of fun. i remember my first nice hex for 109 last year on sale. i was in heaven.

What sucks is it isn't really a sale. I bought mine for 165 a couple weeks ago with a coupon at big 5 :/

Also; Big 5 doesn't match other people's pricing but they will give you their own coupon or sale price for 30 days.
