    Romanian SKS value

Time to thin the c&r heard and I'm gonna list them here before I go to gunbroker.

I have a 1958 Romanian SKS that I'm ready to part ways with a need some help on the value.

Non matching and typical worn wood and metal like most Romanians.

    Any idea on a value?

That's not that worn to my eyes. $4-550 if there is no major damage to the stock and the bolt, magazine and bayonet are clean and snappy. People like Romanians, and they are a little on the rare side. The fact that it is cash and carry helps.

How does it shoot? I might be interested after the holidays if you still have it

Yes it is import marked. The stock is in good shape with lots of dents and digs, the upper hand gaurd has a small crack in it that I have not repaired.
It shoots well and is a lot of fun.

I'll list it here in the exchange shortly. Thinking of letting go of several guns. M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, K98, Sako M39, K31, 1903A3, Hex M91/30, Enfield Mk4 No1, Enfield Jungle Carbine. Watch for the ads over the next week or so

I picked up one 6 months ago all matching except the floorplate, stock dinged but otherwise very good condition for 450 shipped.

I'd say $400, maybe a little more if someone happens to be specifically looking for a Romy.

They are nowhere near as common as Chinese or even Russians. I have 2 Romys and the build quality on both is exceptional.
