Thanks! And yes, I was sweating my balls off. Heat gun would have been so much easier and would have taken less time. But I wanted to try something new.

Yes, the SKS's look great. You will soon find yourself branching out from these and into the many other SKS variants there are out there.

It is not hard to accumulate 10 or more of these awesome milsurps and they are serious fun to shoot, affordable to feed, and just about anyone can handle them due to the moderate recoil. You have an awesome collection there.

Thanks, and honestly, it would take a lot less time using a heat gun to do this. This was more of a novelty way. However, I just got done cooking off another stock this way.
