    What was this?

Anyone have any idea as to what this used to be? I picked it up at an estate sale and the owner said he got it from the wife next door that apparently cracked it over something. Perhaps the husbands head? Yikes

Well, that was either a Gewehr 1898 or a Peruvian 1909. Well, not anymore.

sigpicCertainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter.

        Yikes.

She may have cracked the stock over his head, but the barrel didn't come out of the receiver without an action wrench and a vice.

+1 With a nice roller coaster rear sight.

I could use that as a movie prop if you ever decide to get rid of it.

I think my wife threatened me with something similar when one of my pals slipped and let go how much I paid for my Lafette Mount.
