Shooting a .58 cal Zoave and looking for a DIY powder flask. Not a serious black powder shooter just want to go out to the range and burn some powder once in a while.

I am also sort of looking. I was going to make a dipper out of a .45 Colt case. But I'm thinking of buying a set of Lee dippers. Since I reload a bunch of other calibers, it might make a handy set of tools and if one dipper works for a particular BP load, that's awesome! But of course, you have to watch out for whatever BP rules your range may have (like no open bottles of BP at the line, versus a flask that only exposes one nozzle's worth of BP at a time).==================

Remember to dial 1 before 911.
Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.
There. Are. Four. Lights!Comment

It might actually be cheapest to get some of those tubes and pre-measure at home and not have a flask at all.
You would get 50 of them for $10. Fill the tube and jam a round into the end to seal it shut.Comment
