SOME BOLT GUNS THAT SAW ACTION..OR NOT

I thought I'd share this with you guys. Like most of us here, I like shooting the old iron but it's gotten expensive as of late, and I really haven't been shooting much in quite a while. But I haven't stopped "aquiring". These are some of my mil-surp bolt guns, a few are unmolested (never arsenal refurbed or upgraded), as issued, parts assembled (mis-matched #s), or cloned (Santa FE). I like a good wall hanger and am not oposed to displaying them. Enjoy, PAX

Nice collection. But how would you get your Gew 88's out to look at?

speaking of possible action i wish these rifles could talk. My 1903A3 was built in march of 1943. plenty of time to be sent to the front and be in action. Or it could have never left the states and kept in a gun room or used in training. what do you think the odds are it at least was shipped overseas ?

I set these up to display this way for pictures. It was the only way to get these all in one shot. These normally live in gun racks or cases in a vault. I finally got around to cataloging everything. I've never had an 03 C&R, so I don't have a "bound book". Up until now, unless it was DROSed, I hadn't kept any records. I'm updating my home owners insurance and putting a trust together. Here's some of the "Bubbas". PAX

                  Nice accumulation of rifles.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

Why are you playing Jenga with your rifles?

Those rifles kind of look like the old game of pick up sticks.

                      Nice collection echo1.

The Siamese, a Danzig GEW 88, and the M90 are still in thier original calibers. They have not been rechambered to a spitzer round (or at least they're not stamped so). It just happened to turn out like that, I didn't hunt them down. With the little Dutch carbine, I've managed to assemble a few that aren't too common. PAX
