    AMC Veteran's Day Marathon

AMC is showing some classic military movies today... TiVo picked up The Longest Day, and I've been able to catch a little while working... Great to see many of our C&R's represented and in action, if only in reenactment on screen.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

I saw the Longest Day with my Dad at the theater when it came out. It seemed like the longest movie until the shooting started!

I took some C&Rs out in the desert and had my own little Axis and Allies C&R Veterans day shoot.

            Thanks.

            This was actually more fun:

And the involved rifle was made in about 1962, so it is a C&R
