A few questions regarding 12/31/13

Forgive my poor writing skills. I'm starting to get into the older guns after buying my first Mosin a few months ago. What a blast that gun is to shoot. My son and I just love it. I think it will be the first gun I make\let him clean.

I have been looking for another one and probably will get one before the end of the year. I see a few listed in the F\S forums at kind of what I feel are high prices with sellers thinking the prices will jump the closer we get to the end of the year.

1. Do you think prices will drop like a rock on Mosin's and other C&R guns after01/01/14?

2. Do you think prices might drop towards the end of the year when sellers figure out they are going to be stuck with these rifles?

Thanks for your time. I have really enjoyed this forum. I envy some of you guys that were smart and bought those surplus weapons back when they were so cost efficient..

1. No. I think they'll keep slowly rising as supplies dwindle

2. No. Some will prob hike them up to profit off the last minute scramble. I know I would if I was selling

I would buy them while you can. I don't see any reason for prices to drop at the end of the year. If anything they should go up.
