I'm thinking about giving my dad a bayonet for Xmas. Are any of the reproductions on amazon and eBay decently made? This bayonet will be used as a display piece. Dad will be happy as long as the bayonet fits his rifle and does not feel flimsy. Any ideas?

Have you looked at the CMP website? They have quite a few last I checked that are actual bayonets.Dear ISIS, Texas is not known for their gun free zones.

Sarco has both repro and original. I have one of the repro 10" only difference I could see from original is its new.sigpic

Just looked at Sarco looks like their new batch of repro's are stamped with country of origin. Mine isn't but I got it awhile ago.sigpicComment
