Just picked up a 1953 tula on a whim

Someone put an ati stock on her and lost the factory mag

Its arsenal refinished and has the black bolt carrier and dull finish

Barrel has a 6 on it

Chrome bore looks great, super crisp

$300 plus dros and tax .... I think $353 put the door...

Decent price?

I've been thinking about putting together one of those SKS/fall/ak hybrid guns... I know it would be sac religious to do to a Russian.... but it would make for a damn nice final product

Well, the person who bubba'd it and lost the factory mag gets the Darwin award.

Since you asked....look at all the retarded "hybrid" bubba'd SKS on GB that get zero bids. I especially like the abortive "tactical" or "tricked out" descriptions they add to try and sell those monstrosities. If you want an AK just get an AK.

Take the rifle you have, find a nice red mottled Russian stock to drop it into and a mismatch factory magazine and call it a day.

Take the ATI stock to the range and hammer it into the ground and tape some targets to it.

If your rifle was matching and complete - $450 - $600 based on condition. Maybe a bit more if it is immaculate.
