I'm waiting on two 1916 .308 spanish mausers, 1 Steyr M95 and 1 Chinese SKS. I thought buying them would be the expensive part.. till they get here I still have the bug. I keep shopping. I hope one of my orders gets here soon so I can stop buying and have something to play with. I'll post pics as soon as I get one.

I have heard a lot of bad things about these samco rifles. I bought one and it was quickly returned as the action screws were stripped. The customer service was helpful and I told them what I needed or just refund me and they sent what I asked for. Although they tried to keep the accessories with the second rifle a phone call had those shipped that day. If you Spanish is a turd send it back and ask for a new one. It hasn't worked for everyone but worked for me. At least Samco will give you after the sale service. I think you also need to have realistic expectations for a < 200.00 surplus rifle.Comment

Got em in. What I was expecting. A nice surplus beat up rifle to hunt with. I'm very happy. Just gotta try em. Blueing is mostly gone, but stocks look good. Seams to function fine. Diggin em!
Now if I get the M95 and the SKS soon... maybe I'll make that shoot on the 17th.Comment
