    Interordance Yugo M59/66 C&R eligibility?

Can somebody please kindly let me know if the M59/66 is C&R eligible for cash and carry for PPT's in California?

    Thanks

Currently, no Yugo M59/66 are 50+ years old.

    They were made from 1967-1989.

Therefore, all Yugo M59/66 need to be transferred through a CA FFL dealer.

The Yugo's are 100% C&R in California, but like Quiet says, they have to be transferred through a dealer because they don't meet all of the requirements for California's dealer transfer exemption. To be exempt a firearm has to be C&R and a long gun and over 50 years old.

Which Chinese SKSs would those be? In general there is no way to legally verify the manufacture date of a Chinese SKS. I believe that the only Chinese SKSs that are C&R are the recent batch that were verified as being stored somewhere for 50 years before being imported. These were all very early Chinese SKSs (1956-1960).
