Russian M44 for $100

Hi guys,

I just bought a Russian M44 for $100 from Turners at reseda. Rifle is in very good condition, shinny bore but counter bored, good stock, all numbers matching, but the magazine plate was missing, the plate with spring at the bottom. I will DROS this rifle with other 2 rifles I have on layaway, so not paying anything extra other than the cost of rifle.

I was planning on buying Chinese type 53 to shoot corrosive ammo for $100, this rifle will fulfill that role now.

Where can I buy a magazine plate?

Do you think it's a good deal?

Please advice.

I bought several items from him and never a complaint.
Being that said - is business is a weekend business, so yes getting the stuff to you is a bit slow. His prices are really good though.
