    Please ID this ammo. Country of origin, corrosive, possibility of hang fire?

    Yes, corrosive.
    Known to have hard primers so some rifles may need stouter firing pin springs.
    Overall decent surplus and reliable if firing pin
    Spring up to the task.

          If you mean click/bang, no. Just click and usually they go on the next try.

              '53 8mm Yugo - just a bad batch of primers that would not ignite. I ended up pulling the dud rounds/powder for reuse.

              '54 8mm Yugo - primer leak and brittle brass. The Mauser 98s gas venting system works like a charm!

              Another thing to check for FTF is firing pin protusion
