    Cleaning Mosin Bolt

    Hi guys, I just bought a Mosin off the person doing my truck alignment. The rifle looks good and shoots good. Everything matches but the bolt and the bolt has rust on it. The rifle had some light rust that wiped away after using a toothbrush. Barrel looks good inside, some minor rusting but it cleaned up great.
    I tried cleaning the bolt but its pretty bad. How/ what can I use to clean it up? Ill post a picture soon.

      mineral sprits, hoppys # 9. . just clean and oil it. maybe try 0000 steel wool and oil. brass brush and oil.
