    Just ordered a K-11!!!!

I just "pulled the trigger" on a K11 from Simpsons, LTD!
I looked over other sites but these guys had the best selection/best prices.

The one reason I didn't get a K31 was the price, I only had so much money for this gun purchase and the K31 was over.

Hopefully it will ship either today or tomorrow

Once I get it - pic's will be posted!!

Now bout' the ammo? I don't want to get a ton of the stuff!
So so has the cheapest and I won't get ripped a new one over shipping cost?

    Now the waiting.......

I got one from Simpson a while back; the 20% off made it a great deal. It's just as much fun to shoot as a K31, at least at 1-200 yards.

Since you're in the bay area, buy up as much GP11 ammo as you can. You can get 60 round packs for about $30, or cases for a bit of a discount off that. Lots of the usual suspects stock it.

Technically, K31s have longer barrels given the length of the 1911 receiver, but that's what's so cool about the 1911s! They have enormous receivers.

Still a good choice. Got a couple of those from Simpson's, and, as always, they were better than the description. Good company to deal with.

                Congrats, it's a good buy !
GP11 ammo is what it was made for but many here can tell you about alternative ammo.

GP11 surplus is still widely available for the most part, you can get it in 60rd/120/240/480 packs, usually for 50-55 cents a round, its great stuff too, brass cased and non corrosive, but its berdan primed and non reloadable (something tells me you already knew that though)

                    It's re-loadable just a bit of a hassle :P

I've been looking at Simpsons, if only I had space and money. I just bought a SR1911 from Century, and a K31 from a private party, just waiting for some range time now.

How's the SR1911 from Century? I thought about ordering, but they only have crack stock left.
