I picked one up from Berserker a few months ago, along with a real nice ex-sniper. I plan on doing the table thing ONE of these days...it's still sitting out on my patio though. Need to get it done before the rains.

i reckon a stand-up type gun cabinet could be reasonably made out of this too, just to plant some more ideas....

Temucula still has the 3 of them on the palet, as of noon. I was in there and they all looked beat. with holes in the side, or big gouges, they won't make good coffee tables.

That coffee table project looks sweet! But I no longer have my mosin...

you do realize the crates are more rare than the rifles.
what a shame to ruin a perfectly good original crate with excellent patina,
                      you should be ashamed.

wish I had thought of it first.

If you miss your chance here, Mitchell's Mausers has a VERY rare supply of these crates, marked with BOTH the Imperial Coat of Arms of Nicholas II AND an autograph of Joseph Stalin, all in mint condition, with GOLD plated hinges, bronze nails instead of steel, and they come with a very rare royal-purple velvet liner commissioned by Nicholas II himself as they were built to hold his personal stash of Mosins that he kept under his bed.

$2,300 each and you get a bottle of Stoli's with it too. Hurry! Only 500 of these rare Nicholas II crates available!
