    8X56r Box

I was going through some of my 8X56r ammo (yes it does exist) and saw this on some of the boxes:

Is this stuff collectable or just ordinary?

It is the same stuff that came in years ago, and was the only available ammunition for these rifles for years. I have shot tons of it, as have many others. It is uncommon, but still out there.

I have quite a bit of those. Not super rare, but starting to become a bit.

it's getting rare, I have a bunch but I have to shoot some as it's starting to get discolored. checked the tin I keep it stored in last week and a couple of the boxes looked funny. the clips had some corrosion and the brass was discolored on some. I cleaned it up and won't worry about shooting it, but didn't want it to sit too long. if anyone wants the boxes let me know and i'll save them. I hope to be at the next west-end shoot but we'll see how things go. I seem to run out of weekends real quick these days.
