Has anyone got their T53 Mosins from JG?

Just curious, what JG considers a "hand select". I just got two of them, and both are mixmasters. The one I got from Widener's earlier this year was numbers matching (also a hand select). The bores seem tight (good bullet test), the metal - decent, the stocks - the usual Chinese crap. So, what makes them hand selects? The rest are even worse, or what?

    What was your experience?

Got mine yesterday. Happy with it. No pics now. Slick action, "nice" trigger, wood isn't great but not bad, mostly matching except bolt. Good stuff for $120.
Might go back and try a few without hand select to tell difference. I only ordered one hand select so can't compare...

How sad that it has come to this. I miss the days of $120 buying you the nicest Mosin you've ever seen.

Yeah unfortunately when I was 18 I wasn't fully appreciative of the prices back in the late 90s. Time marches on though, and deals are all relative.

Nothing lasts forever. Otherwise, we'd all have SVT-40-like collections

Hmm, another thing I didn't pay attention to. Both rifles came without cleaning rods. Did yours have cleaning rods?
