CMP Carbine grade request

I'll be putting in an order with the CMP in a few days for one of the carbines that'll be coming available. I'd like to get a service grade, but if they run out before my order is processed, I'd like to downgrade to a rack grade. How do I go about making that request to them?

Do I just order both and if I get a service grade, just cancel the rack grade, or is there a way to have them do that for me?
