    K31 Surplus Ammo Question

Pretty much a yes or no question. I am trying to feed my K31, and going to be buying bulk ammunition.

    So I have found

Anyone know if these are magnetic?

    Thanks

I am glad my demise became your amusement...

          Sigh...

At least it served some purpose...

The description says "brass cased" & "lead cores", so I'd guess NO.

GP-11 is lead cored with a steel jacket. They will not break the backstop, but will still attract magnets.

GP-11 is very high quality, and steel jacketed.

Yes, just tried my GP-11 and it is attracted to a magnet.

PPU makes boxer primed copper jacketed that can be found for about .75-80 cents per round. That's the best option for factory that is non-magnetic. Save the brass and roll your own; save the GP11 for when you can get out into the desert.

Reload, reload, reload as far as cost, but GP11 is really accurate ammo, most claim it is match quality.

So, it attracts a magnet, but is still lead core. How doe's one know if a range will accept it? This only gets more confusing.
