    .45 SAA at 50 yds

Well bad guys are pretty safe from me at 50 yard range lol.

Finally tried out my Colt and the single front blade sight was tough for me to hit with. Trapp got 2 on the paper and I ended up hitting the edges a few times...still a blast though

That was fun, but I was wasting ammo. Another two months for my eyes to heal up, when I can actually see the target, and we'll see what it can do.

still, a fat guy at 50yd is in BIG trouble! I remember once years ago at high desert rod&gun, the wind was so high it blew all our targets off but the 50 yd and all we had left was .38 special double-ended wadcutters. my brother and I took turns and I shot what looked like a check mark at 50 yds just off center to the right on a silhouette with 6 shots. have always since maintained I could kill the hell out of a fat guy at 50 yards with that pistol. it's a s&w 686 with a 2.5" barrel. the love of my life. seems to be a jealousy factor as i'm not allowed to sleep with her....

You have to practice on a moving target, those fat guys won't sit still on the 50.
